Arion Names Industry Veteran Kash Arfa As Company’s First Automation Business Unit Leader

Kash Arfa has been named Vice-President of Arion’s Automation Business Unit. For over 32 years, Arfa’s activities within the instrumentation and process control and automation markets in the energy and chemical industries have given him invaluable experience he now will bring to Arion. Arfa has held a variety of leadership positions over the three decades of his career, including an entrepreneurial leadership position with a start-up specialty process automation solutions provider and a variety of technology and leadership roles with a major Fortune 500 company.

“The team we’re assembling as we develop our Automation Business Unit is outstanding,” said COO Edmund Lunde. “Having Kash at the helm is confirmation that our strategy and vision for Automation services is in capable and experienced hands.”

Prior to joining Arion, Arfa was one of the founders and principals of The Automation Group, a startup that grew from 4 to 150+ people before being acquired by Emerson. He spent another 14 years with Emerson, serving as Director of Operations at the Gulf Coast Engineering Center, VP of Oil & Gas Global Operations, and VP Global Projects - Digital Transformation. With broad experience in entrepreneurial and large corporate settings alike, Arfa brings a breadth and depth of knowledge to head up Arion’s Automation Business Unit.

A graduate of the University of Houston, Arfa holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and resides in Houston.
